Lars Christiansen has a Master's degree in Environmental Geography and is a research assistant in the Climate Strategies and Resilient Development group at URC. From 2007 to 2011 he held the position of Programme Manager with the Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF) and Special Climate Change Fund (SCCF) at the Global Environment Facility in Washington, DC, where he worked on technical assessments of adaptation projects and contributed to a number of policy papers and publications. Lars has been at the Centre since May 2011, where, among other things, he has worked on the following projects: • Task Manager for 6 LDCF funded, UNEP implemented, adaptation projects in Cambodia, Comoros, Djibouti, Gambia, Lesotho, and Rwanda • Editor of the 1st adaptation issue of URCs Technology Transfer Perspectives Series • Editor and co-author of the upcoming TNA guidebook for adaptation financing • Co-editor and contributor of adaptation content for the AfriCAN project • An upcoming review of indicators and adaptation metrics for adaptation
